Meet Our Award-Winning Pediatric Dentists
Dr. Deborah Aber
Dr. Aber’s journey to becoming one of Toronto’s top pediatric dentists began with her educational foundation at McGill University, followed by her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Her passion for working with children led her to complete a general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital and a pediatric dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital.
As a fellow in Pediatric Dentistry of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Aber brings exceptional credentials to her practice. After working with Manhattan Pediatric Dental group, she moved to Toronto in 2003 and established Little Pearls Pediatric Dentistry after 18 years of dedicated service in the community.
Dr. Aber is fluent in English and French, allowing her to serve Toronto’s diverse population with cultural sensitivity and clear communication.
Dr. Vandna Sharma
Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Dr. Sharma completed her dental education at the University of Saskatchewan in 2005, followed by a general practice residency in pediatric dentistry at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. Her experience as both a general practice resident and consultant at BC Children’s Hospital fueled her passion for pediatric care.
Dr. Sharma pursued further specialization with a fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto from 2008-2011, during which she also completed a Masters of Science with research focusing on complications arising from general anesthesia for persons with disabilities undergoing dental treatment.
Her multilingual abilities in English, French, and Hindi enable her to connect with Toronto’s multicultural families, ensuring clear communication about their children’s dental health needs.
